Fair enough. I acknowledged the celeb & influencer advantage elsewhere but meant "equitable" in the context of us normies and whatever existing skills we have as we get started on Threads.
I think the opportunity cost of joining another social network is too high here. If Twitter dies we don't need another Twitter. We should return to our owned channels! That is my plan. Meta has no trust with me as I put in my recent Substack post. They throttled all our brand pages we built to 0 after growing millions of followers. It's most surprising to me the media is so forgiving here, given they lent Facebook real estate on their properties for many years to grow core FB. The scorpion will always sting...
